چکیده
Abstract Urban development follows population growth caused by various factors, both natural and non-natural. The increasing number of residents in Depok Subdistrict makes the demand for land also increase. Residential that continues to develop can cause temperature conditions increase or known as Heat Island. This study purpose determine how influence urban on Island phenomenon analyze surface temperatures. concludes there has been an heat island 2014 with a distribution area 49% total 51% non-UHI UHI threshold 26.18°C. Meanwhile, 2019 was decrease UHI. 30% 70% are areas 27.18°C. Although is UHI, soil increased from 29.78°C 31.10°C. In density does not affect value but tribe index value.

Spatiotemporal trends of urban heat island effect along the urban development intensity gradient in China.
Urban heat island (UHI) represents a major anthropogenic modification to the Earth system and its relationship with urban development is poorly understood at a regional scale. Using Aqua MODIS data and Landsat TM/ETM+ images, we examined the spatiotemporal trends of the UHI effect (ΔT, relative to the rural reference) along the urban development intensity (UDI) gradient in 32 major Chinese citi...

We are all familiar with the fact that cities are generally warmer than the surrounding, more rural areas. We see it referenced most nights in our television weather reports. It is especially significant on nights with clear skies and light winds which favor radiational cooling. This is most significant in the rural areas but in the city, the excess heat absorbed during the day and the local he...

متن کاملUrban heat island effect on cicada densities in metropolitan Seoul
Background Urban heat island (UHI) effect, the ubiquitous consequence of urbanization, is considered to play a major role in population expansion of numerous insects. Cryptotympana atrata and Hyalessa fuscata are the most abundant cicada species in the Korean Peninsula, where their population densities are higher in urban than in rural areas. We predicted a positive relationship between the UHI...
